Our Team

Catherine (Cathy) Williams, VMD
Veterinarian, Owner

I have always loved animals and was fortunate enough to combine this with my passion for science by becoming a veterinarian. I have worked in many different practices over the years, which has given me a unique perspective. Every veterinarian has their own way of doing things, and a treatment considered wrong in one practice might be used successfully in another! This has enabled me to become more open-minded and flexible in my approach. I am committed to providing the highest quality, most up-to-date medical and surgical treatments. However, over thirty years of practice have taught me that simple treatments and tinctures over time can cure many illnesses without expensive testing.

I have been married to David Williams (professor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois) for 43 years. We have one son, Harold, who received his PhD in Mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley and is now an assistant professor of Mathematics at the University of Southern California. He and his wife have two children. We have four cats and a large aviary, which houses about 30 finches. I have always been interested in art and enjoy drawing with pastels. Several of my pet portraits are on display in our hospital. I also enjoy reading and spending time with my family.

Our Team

Robin Hadley, DVM
Veterinarian

I have been practicing in central Illinois since graduation in 2000 and I joined Mahomet Animal Hospital in October 2020. My goal is to provide compassionate, realistic treatment to cats and dogs of all life stages. In addition to private practice, I have worked in low-cost, high volume mobile clinics, and have collaborated within my community to provide access to affordable veterinary care. I represent Illinois in the Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association, a professional organization devoted to the advancement of animal welfare. I am presently seeking certification in low-stress handling and veterinary acupuncture. My husband, Carl, and I moved to Mahomet in 2014, with our cats, dogs, and horses. We both love to explore the beautiful parks in our community on foot, bicycle, or kayak.

Stephanie

Practice Manager

Growing up, I always had a passion for science and animals. I channeled that passion into a career starting with an associate’s degree in pre-professional medical science from Parkland College. I then attended the University of Illinois and received my bachelor’s degree in animal science in 2011. I have worked at many animal hospitals since college, starting with Mahomet Animal Hospital in 2014 when we opened. I own one dog, 3 cats, and 2 horses. I also have a son who I adore!! I enjoy hiking, scrapbooking, rescuing animals, and traveling.

Jillian

Veterinary Assistant

I have worked with animals since 2015, when I graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s in Zoology. I have always had a house full of pets; currently, I have two dogs, three cats, and two guinea pigs. My two young children keep me busy, but in my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, and crocheting.

Miranda

Customer Service Representative

As the receptionist and the first face you see when you walk in, my goal is to make sure both you and your furry friends feel right at home. While this is my first role in the veterinary world, my love for animals has been a lifelong journey. Growing up, my family fostered and cared for many pets until they could find their fur-ever homes.
Whether you’re here for a check-up or just to say hi, I’m all about creating a welcoming vibe and providing a laugh. When I’m not at the clinic, I’m a mom to two wonderful human kids, two dogs, and a cat. In my downtime, you can find me checking my horoscope, playing with my tarot cards, getting scared by horror movies, or playing video games.

Steffen

Veterinary Technician

My dog Tasha developed my interest in veterinary medicine when I was a child. Since then, I have been working toward getting a veterinary technology degree. I graduated from the Veterinary Technology Program at Parkland College in 2017. I have worked at various veterinary hospitals and started with Mahomet Animal Hospital in 2023. When I am not working, I enjoy singing, playing video games, and swimming.
