About Out Hospital
Mahomet Animal Hospital is a veterinary facility for cats and dogs, offering preventive medicine, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, acupuncture, and more. Dr. Catherine Williams purchased our animal hospital in 2013 and then gave the interior a makeover with new equipment to ensure our team has the tools we needed to deliver great veterinary care.
One thing that truly sets our practice apart is our Low-Stress Handling certification. Every staff member has completed training to reduce fear and anxiety in pets. Thanks to this approach, we are often able to reduce or even avoid the need for sedation in anxious patients. It’s a win-win for us, pets, and their humans!

We believe that veterinary medicine should be practiced with skill and heart. Mahomet Animal Hospital has down-to-earth veterinary care, where clients feel like family. We are committed to reducing stress and fear in pets, as well as giving pet owners the information they need to make informed decisions about pet care.
We are fortunate to have a tight-knit staff that works together to keep things running smoothly. We laugh together and support each other. Our staff members often spend time with one another outside the clinic, sometimes even bringing their kids. Vet med can be tough, so we lift each other up, share the workload, and celebrate the little wins along the way.
